The prestigious Ken Galluccio Cup field lacrosse tournament is moving to Radotín for three years

Right after the Frank Menschner Cup, Radotín will also host an elite field lacrosse event. The LCC has been granted permission by the European Lacrosse Federation to host the Ken Galluccio Cup, a tournament for European champions, for three seasons. The tournament will take place at the SC Olympia Radotín complex from September 12 to 14.

Ten European champions will compete in the men's competition. The biggest favorites will certainly include the English team Spencer LC, German champions HTHC Hamburg, and Norwegian champions Oslo Saints. The Swedes from Sundbyberg Lacrosse could also surprise us, and we should not underestimate the Swiss Zürich Lions. The Czech Republic will be represented by the SK Lacrosse Jižní Město team, which secured its participation at the end of the qualifying match against Radotín's Custodes. The list of participants will also include Bologna Lacrosse, Delft Barons, Panthers Wrocław, and Barcelona Dracs.

In Radotín, however, local spectators will mainly be watching the women's tournament, in which the home team LCC Girls will compete. Radotín players definitely have the highest ambitions. At last year's tournament, they were only stopped in the final by the Rotterdam Jaguars, and our girls will want to get their revenge on the Dutch team on home turf and with the support of their fans. However, the English team Centaurs Lacrosse, German champions Schwarz-Weiß Köln 1920 e. V., and the Scottish team from Edinburgh University will certainly want to get involved in the fight for the title. We will see how other teams, which according to initial estimates are unlikely to be among the favorites, will fare in Radotín. Players from the Christiania Lacrosse club will arrive from Norway, the Bern Titans from Switzerland, the Poznań Hussars Ladies will represent Poland, and the Bologna Lacrosse players will represent Italy.

All matches will be streamed on the LCC YouTube channel, but of course, we would be delighted if you came to cheer them on in person at the stadium.
