Getting to the KGC venue

By train

Local trains S7 from Hlavní nádraží (Main station, metro C, 20 mins) or Smíchovské nádraží (metro B, 10 mins) go directly to Radotín (direction Beroun, Karlštejn or Řevnice). Use the southern subway on the platform (closer to the head of the train), go right inside. Then continue straight on over the pedestrian bridge, turn left and go through the subway, turn right and continue 400 m alongside the railway to the venue. Map with the path. A basic transferable Prague public transport ticket is applicable. Click here for timetables, search for stations Praha-hl. nádraží or Praha-Smíchov and Praha-Radotín.

Not sure if the train stops in Radotín? If it has two floors it always does. If it has one floor, be careful. It may be the fast train and you can wave on Radotín from the window and have a scenic trip alongside the Berounka river to Beroun.

By bus

From Smíchovské nádraží (metro B) take #244 and get off at Sídliště Radotín (final stop, 20 mins). From the bus stop go left and after 100 m turn right to the pedestrian path behind the medical center. Cross the railway track and continue to the subway under the main railway and you will see the venue in front of you. Map with the path (timetables incl. local trains).

A 30-minute ticket costs CZK 30, a 90-minute ticket is CZK 40, a 1-day ticket is CZK 120, and a 3-day ticket is CZK 330. They are valid for all kinds of transport. You can purchase traditional paper tickets from vending machines, ticket booths, tobacconists, etc. Always stamp it before you enter the transportation zone but never restamp it – the ticket is devalidated by a second stamp. The time limit starts with the first stamp.

Use PIDlítačka app to purchase tickets for Prague public transport. You can use the app for searching for your connection, and you can also pay for your parking through it. Seniors from 65 years can travel free of charge. They have to prove their age. Check here. More about the Prague transport system at www.pid.cz or www.dpp.cz.

Parking

You can park for free alongside the railway in the Ke Zděři street. Parking lot near the Radotín Sports Hall is another good option.
